I am a woodturner and woodcarver and I live near the town of Divide, Colorado.
Divide is about 30 miles west of Colorado Springs on US 24. I live about 4 miles north
of town in an area called Spring Valley.

The word 'treen' is an old English word meaning 'made from a tree'. Prior to the
availability of iron nails, wooden structures were fastened together with wooden
spikes called 'treenails'. Small-scale turned woodwork like the items that I make
are commonly referred to as 'treen'.

This site is intended primarily for gallery and shop owners who may be interested
in seeing examples of my work. It is not currently set up for on-line ordering.
